Marriah LaVigne is the owner and visionary behind Cocoon Salon. After years of working for others, she set out to create the kind of salon that she had always dreamed of - a modern, beautiful, and relaxed space that she couldn’t find anywhere else. Equally important to her was creating an independent stylist salon where other hair pros could thrive creatively while enjoying the freedom to be their own bosses. This vision came to life with Cocoon’s first location in the Miller Textile building in NE Minneapolis, followed by the opening of a second location at the Vandalia Tower building in St. Paul.

Inspired by the world around her, she crafts distinctive, low maintenance, long lasting, effortless styles tailored to highlight each clients individual beauty. Marriah specializes in cutting, particularly razor cutting, and natural looking, hair color.

Marriah is passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive experience for women, non-binary, and people presenting as women.

Her pricing structure is based on an hourly price of $150 and she does not accept gratuities.
